From 24.01 until 02.03, our gallery space at Uus 7 will be open for viewers with Peeter Must’s fresh exhibit “Beach”, curated by Harry Liivrand who writes:
Peeter Must
“Peeter Must graduated from EKA in 1993 as a ceramics major and in the 21st Century, is considered to be among the leading Estonian neo-hyperrealists, along with Andro Kööp and Ivar Kaasik.
His theme for this exhibit is the historically significant summery beach, which is consistent throughout the 14 pieces of this new exhibit.
The paintings were completed between 2020 and 2022 and celebrate the eternal summer. Realism is only present for the figures but the rest of the paintings are handled in a much more abstractionist way.”
