Modern art master Toomas Vint (b. 1944) takes you to where you would like to be every day with his metaphysical landscapes – without distractions and noise. Just somewhere to be. “Close to the Sea” is a painting that definitely takes us to that place. The painting conveys the idea that we are in a park but from the smell of the sea in the air and the barely audible roar of the waves, we know that it is close.
