Tõnis Vint’s (1942-2019) 1980s and 1990s compositions with female figures bear the stamp of neo-mannerism, which began to spread already in the 1970s in connection with the rediscovery and so-called rehabilitation of 16th-century mannerism. In addition, it was given impetus by the spread of surrealism in the form of all kinds of popular fantasy games. Tõnis Vint always made such compositions in series, marking them with letters and numbers, one of the most exciting of which is before us here.
