Peeter Allik (1966-2019), a founding member of the Kursi art group and laureate of the Ado Vabbe and Konrad Mägi awards, has said that he creates art for hopeless naives and lovers of weird art. He says directly and unashamedly what seems inspiring and cool at the moment.

In the work “Queens of the Rose Garden”, Allik literally looks at life through flowers. By placing naked human figures in a carefully pruned English garden, he gives them a decorative meaning, as if visualizing the expression “cherries on the cake”. Allik sees, paints and smiles at the same time and always puts everyone in a good mood.
