This beautiful and mood-creating flower painting is one of Märt Bormeister’s best works in the genre. A very simple motif – flowers in two vases – has been solved while emphasizing the beauty of the flowers. It is the detailed painting of their petals that has attracted the artist’s attention in particular. The frost flowers in the large vase and the marigolds in the small one form a harmonious whole in terms of color, the vases almost do not stand out from behind them and merge with the background instead.
