For internationally acclaimed artist Mark Kalev Kostabi (b. 1960), the 1980s and 1990s were his best creative period as this is when he gained fame both in the US and Estonia. Making faceless, eternally young human figures a trademark of his art, he depicts them in all sorts of absurd situations, including commercial relationships, as seen in this painting.

The products initially look quite similar but the client still needs the banker’s practical recommendations to choose the right one. At the moment, the only selection is Heart shares from 1992 but their returns promise to be good as the moralist Kostabi seems to know. In his neo-pop work, Kostabi presses on those nerve points that immediately cause the joy of recognition in every person involved in the topic.
