Samal ajal l\u00f5i Karrus ka maaliliselt nauditavaid maastiku- ja linnavaateid nagu k\u00e4esolev t\u00fc\u00fcpiline hilispallaslik vaade aastast 1942.<\/p>\n

Sarnaselt Kitsele, Mikkole ja K\u00f5ksile hakkas ka Karrus sel ajal \u00f5hemalt, napimas koloriidis maalima. Nagu on \u00f6elnud Mai Levin, oli see \u201etagasihoidlik, aga \u00fclimalt fine <\/em>kunst\u201c. Saaremaal valminud teos v\u00f5lub ka oma \u00e4ratuntavalt stiilipuhta motiivi poolest.<\/p>\n
