Toona populaarseks saanud Saaremaa maalimisreiside ajal k\u00fclastas V\u00e4li ka Hiiumaad, kus valmis k\u00e4esolev Kassari vaade. Hoogsate laiade pintslil\u00f6\u00f6kidega annab kunstnik edasi looduskauni koha \u00f5hustikku ning on n\u00fcansirikkalt teosele j\u00e4\u00e4dvustanud Hiiumaa looduse erip\u00e4rad.
