Saaremaa oma tuuliste randade ning kidura, ent vastupidava loodusega v\u00f5lus rannikumaastikuga harjunud Richard Uutmaad (1905-1977) nii oma kodususe kui samas saareelu eksootilisusega. Ajal, mil kunstnikud sinna loomeretki tegid, oli Saaremaal veel \u00fcsna palju arhailisi taluhooneid, kiviaedu piki k\u00fclateid, t\u00f6\u00f6tavaid tuulikuid. See k\u00f5ik s\u00f6\u00f6bis kunstniku m\u00e4llu ning sket\u0161iraamatuisse ja nii valmis \u00f5limaalide k\u00f5rval ka akvarelle.<\/p>\n
