[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_larger=”no” woodmart_inline=”no”]Tartus s\u00fcndinud Oskar Georg Adolf Hoffmann (1851-1912) oli meie baltisakslastest \u00fcks suurimaid Eesti ja eestlaste austajaid. Ta \u00f5ppis selgeks meie keele ning kujutas loomingus ilmekaid Maarjamaa talupojat\u00fc\u00fcpe nii t\u00f6\u00f6l, laadal, k\u00f5rtsis kui ajalehte lugemas – n\u00e4idiseid tema p\u00f5nevaist karakteritest leiab mitmeid ka KUMU kollektsioonist.<\/p>\n

1880. aastate alguses elas Hoffmann Tartus, kus tutvus sealse eestlasest fotograafi Reinhold Sachkeri loominguga. Sachkeri etnograafilised fotod kohalikest talumeestest v\u00f5lusid Hoffmanni ning kuna \u00fcsna keeruline oli leida pikki p\u00e4evi poseerivaid modelle, siis kasutas kunstnik oma t\u00f6\u00f6de alusp\u00f5hjana sageli just fotosid. Muhe Eesti talumees, k\u00e4sip\u00f5sakil laua taga istumas on maalitud nauditavalt ja n\u00fcansipeenelt, sellest kiirgab soojust ja austust kujuteldava vastu. Kirillitsas signeeris Hoffmann reeglina teoseid peale 1883. aastat, mis lubab ka k\u00e4esoleva teose dateerida just sellesse perioodi.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
