[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text text_larger=”no” woodmart_inline=”no”]Richard Kaljo (1914-1978) l\u00f5petas Pallase graafikuna 1940. aastal. 1950-ndatel kogus ta tuntust Alexandre Dumas\u00b4 musket\u00e4rilugude illustreerijana, mille l\u00e4bi Kaljo looming paljude eestimaalaste kodudesse j\u00f5udis.<\/p>\n

Kaljo viljeles erinevaid tehnikaid, sh linooll\u00f5iget, puugrav\u00fc\u00fcri, kuivn\u00f5ela. Tema graafiliste lehtede keskmes olid tihti meeleolukad stseenid ja inimt\u00fc\u00fcbid lokaalidest, baaridest, kohvikutest. Ta oskas meisterlikult kujutada figuure erinevais asendeis ning nii on tema tegelaskujud vabas liikumises, neis on tabatud modelli loomulik sarm. Sarnaselt kujutab ka Kaljo \u00fcks tuntumaid teoseid “Kvartett” d\u017e\u00e4ssim\u00e4ngijaid ennastunustavalt ja sundimatult lokaalis musitseerimas.<\/p>\n
