Sageli kodukohta tagasi tulnud Bochmann armastas kodust L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Eestit ja seal valmisid tal mitmed kohalikku olustikku kujutavad teosed, sh k\u00e4esolev, ranniku\u00e4\u00e4rset id\u00fclli kujutav maal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eriti tuntuks sai ta kui suurep\u00e4rase hobustseenide maalijana, mis v\u00f5lusid d\u00fcnaamilisuse ning t\u00f5etruu kujutlusviisiga. K\u00e4esolev \u00f5limaal pole pelgalt talumaastiku kujutus, vaid filosoofiline jutustus hobusest ja tema peremehest. Kui tavaliselt n\u00e4eme Bochmannil meest kas hobuse seljas ratsutamas v\u00f5i teda vankri ees ajamas, siis siin n\u00e4eme distantsi nende vahel. Ometigi on nad m\u00f5lemad \u00fcksteise vaatev\u00e4ljas, ootel, teades kumbki t\u00e4pselt, mis ees ootab. Nii loob kunstnik silmale n\u00e4htamatu pingev\u00e4lja, sideme looma ja inimese vahel, mis on aegade algusest olnud tugev ja \u00fcksteisest eluliselt s\u00f5ltuv.<\/span><\/p>\n
