Enamasti leiame tema teostelt t\u00f6\u00f6tegemise stseene metsast, p\u00f5llult ja mere \u00e4\u00e4rest, kuid k\u00e4esoleval teosel kajastab ta eestlaseks olemise l\u00f5busamat poolt – rahvapidu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Juba vanadel eestlastel oli kombeks kindlatel p\u00fchadel aeg maha v\u00f5tta ning k\u00fclapeol tantsu vihtuda ja \u00fchiselt laule laulda. Emotsioon ja r\u00f5\u00f5m koosveedetud ajast on v\u00f5imsalt j\u00e4\u00e4dvustatud Ninem\u00e4e suurem\u00f5\u00f5tmelisele teosele: hoogsalt tantsu vihtuvad paarid, \u00f5llekapaga h\u00f5iskavad mehed ning loomulikult pillimees ilma kelleta \u00fckski pidu ei m\u00f6\u00f6du. Maalikunstnik Mauri Gross kirjutab: \u201cSoojades erksates toonides\u00a0 pidu valgusele v\u00e4ljendab vabadust ja r\u00f5\u00f5mu, kus k\u00f5ik osalised on tegevuses ja kus ruum on t\u00e4itunud salap\u00e4rase valgusega. Ilmselgelt toimub tegevus suletud ruumis, kus tahtmatult tekib k\u00fcsimus valguse p\u00e4ritolu kohta: on see seesmine valgus ja r\u00f5\u00f5m v\u00f5i p\u00e4ikeseloojang ja t\u00e4nu l\u00f5ikuspeole?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
