Kui enamasti oli kunstniku silm suunatud merele, siis k\u00e4esolevas teoses annab ta au kalap\u00fc\u00fcgilt tulnud meestele ning mereandidele. Kuigi kalamotiiv esineb sageli tema maalidel, eriti 1960.-70. aastatel, siis on teoses \u201c\u00d5htus\u00f6\u00f6k sadamas\u201d need Ohakale vaid ettek\u00e4\u00e4ndeks, et demonstreerida oma meisterlikke koloristlikke ja kompositsioonilisi oskusi.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Varjundirikkale pruunile taandatud \u00fcldkoloriidil torkab kohe silma h\u00f5bedane lestapaar, hetk hiljem v\u00f5ib hoomata esialgu m\u00e4rkamatuks j\u00e4\u00e4vat pruun-ookeris, juba valmis k\u00fcpsetatud kala nende vahel. Kuigi kujutatud on liikumatuid objekte, on t\u00f6\u00f6 ometigi d\u00fcnaamiline, siin on\u00a0 olustikule vastavat hoogsust, s\u00e4ravaid t\u00e4helepanu t\u00f5mbajaid (keerdu t\u00f5mbunud k\u00f6is) ning arvukalt teisi p\u00f5nevaid detaile, mis viivad silma r\u00e4ndama ning m\u00f5tted merele, suvele ja s\u00f5pradega koosveedetud ajale.
