Kaljo P\u00f5llu rahvusromantiline sari \u201eEesti maastik\u201d kujutas endast kunstniku n\u00e4gemust sellest ranniku\u00e4\u00e4rsest maast, mille orud, m\u00e4ed ja j\u00e4rvesilmad olid talle l\u00f5putuks inspiratsiooniallikaks.<\/span><\/p>\n

1982. aasta \u201cEesti maastikus\u201d laob P\u00f5llu kiht-kihi haaval paberile kunstilisi t\u00e4henduskihte ja m\u00fctoloogilisi muistendeid. Sametpehme must vaheldub helendava valgega, piiriks vaid siksakilised kuuseladvad. Kuniks \u00fchel hetkel kaob muinasjutte t\u00e4is \u00f6\u00f6pimedusse ka see. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nagu Betti Alveri 40 aastat varem kirjutatud luuletuses, avaneb kaarekujulisest kumerast taevast avaus, millest maapinnale langevad kiired loovad \u00fchenduse maa ja taeva vahel.
