Luuletaja Hasso Krull on kirjutanud: \u201cSarapuu maalid jagunevad p\u00f5hijoontes kahte kategooriasse: pildid, mida pole varem n\u00e4inud, ja pildid, mida justkui oleks kuskil n\u00e4inud, ainult ei m\u00e4leta, kus \u2026\u201d (\u201cLembit Sarapuu maailmal\u00f5pp\u201d, Sirp 1.07.2022). Nii on ka modernsena m\u00f5juva teosega “\u00d5itsev toomingas”, mis \u00fchelt poolt tundub v\u00f5luva Eesti maastikule t\u00fc\u00fcpilise j\u00e4\u00e4dvustusena, tulvil v\u00e4rskust ja kevadise looduse v\u00e4rvirikkust, mida igal kevadel n\u00e4ha v\u00f5ime, ning teisalt on tunne, et p\u00e4riselt me siin kunagi k\u00e4inud pole.
